If you love Hemingway and the late Anthony Bourdain like Chef Keith, then join us for an unforgettable guided tour of Spain, celebrating the country’s rich culinary traditions and vibrant culture. This special adventure will take us to two of Spain’s most iconic destinations—San Sebastián and Madrid—on a gastronomic pilgrimage partially inspired by the late Anthony Bourdain’s travel shows as well as many spots in Madrid favored by the late great Ernest Hemingway.
What to Expect:
San Sebastián: Explore the heart of Basque cuisine in one of the world’s greatest food cities. Enjoy pintxos crawls through the Old Town, savor Michelin-starred dining, and visit some of Bourdain’s favorite spots. Chef Keith has been visiting the Basque region of Spain for many years and has arranged for some hard to get tables at iconic restaurants as well as in one restaurant our very own private VIP dining table set in the wine cellar.
Madrid: Dive into the bustling food markets, classic tapas bars, and historic eateries that showcase the capital’s dynamic culinary scene. We’ll dine where Hemingway shared meals with locals and friends, immersing ourselves in authentic Spanish hospitality. Wineries: we will visit several wineries between Madrid and San Sebastián including Lopez de Haro in Rioja, Finca Rio Negro and a Txakoli vineyard very close to San Sebastián.
